I am humbled and empowered by your many emails, tweets, phone calls and postings of support.
My goal was just to let you know I would be gone and why, yet we have started a powerful dialogue that is providing me with so much courage and joy.
My commitment to you is to keep you informed of everything I learn and to continue the dialogue here.
I will be telling more stories and whenever possible posting a little extra something here. Again, many thanks.

Love the morning show with John and Zoraida, they are informed and present the news in a "real" yet professional manner. Prayers for Zoraida, her courage is commended as she faced her surgery and informed women and her audience making us all more informed when facing tough decions.
Zoraida in Aug 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have gone every year for my momo and the previous year nothing showed up. Last year it showed two anomilies. I had a breast scan and biopsy and that came back possitive for cancer. I had two very agrssive types of cancer tumors in my left breast. I had one of the top cancer surgeons in the state of Ct. she put me through all kinds of test to insure that I had no cancer anywhere in my body. I know the new guide lines say every two years for momograms, but I asked my surgeon what would have happend had I waited another year and she said by then it would have been in my lymth glands and possibly my liver, which would not have been good. All I can say is to anyone is get your momogram every year!!! Do not listen to the new guide lines. As it was they found a very minute cancer particle just under the skin on the breast that was biopsied that she said coud not be picked up in a momo, scan or an MRI, because of this I had to go through Chemo to kill any more of these particles. I am just getting some fuss on my head and some of my taste buds are also coming back. I wish you all the best and take care, you are an insperation to all
I wish you all the best in your walk on this journey I am sure you would rather not be on. I enjoy watching the show in the morning.
Zoraida, It's always been a pleasure to talk to you. I wish you a speedy recovery, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and a Big Mazel Tov on your upcoming marriage. You are a strong, brave, beautiful woman. Keep fighting the good fight.
