West, Texas Mayor Tommy Muska on Texas fertilizer plant explosion: 'I’m sure we lost some really good people today'

Overnight homes in West, Texas were leveled due to an explosion at a nearby fertilizer plant. Waco Police Sgt. William Swanton says up to 15 people may be dead and other officials have said that number could climb a lot higher.

Thousands of people evacuated and rescue crews are still searching for the missing. This morning Mayor Tommy Muska joins “Early Start” by phone to discuss the aftermath of the Texas fertilizer plant explosion.

“It is a devastating thing. Our citizens are just… torn up about it and I am too but we’re doing our best to keep going.” He adds, “I’m sure we lost some really good people today.”
