Forced spending cuts: When you'll feel it – Christine Romans explains

(CNN MONEY) Friday's the day. The arbitrary, across-the-board spending cuts lawmakers approved but swore would never happen are set to begin.

Will you notice an immediate effect? Not likely.

For the most part, the ramifications would kick in over months, not several days or weeks.

This morning on "Early Start," Christine Romans on when forced spending cuts will be felt if nothing is done to avoid a March 1st deadline.
