Shame on you CNN! Adam Lambert gives some great advice here and all you do is make some lame remark about eye liner. Way to marginalize! Wake up, it's 2012. This does not happen to him overseas. Only in America does the subtle or not so subtle ridicule continue after almost 4 years. This guy is a fabulous talent and fabulous humanitarian, yet the media always jumps in with some throw away remark about his look. I expected more from CNN.
But CNN... the eyeliner comment was uncalled for. Hmm, don't want to date myself, but most all the rockers of my era wore eyeliner as a sign of well, a rocker and/or bad boy... Nothing more, nothing less! Hope the USA media gets over it.
With the internet you can see what is going on around the world when Adam does concerts and interviews in other countries, and the USA is the country that habitually talks about the eyeliner and/or his preference. Get over it, it's 2012... Talk about the music – did you show/mention his album that came out this year – it's fantastic!
"Early Start with John Berman and Christine Romans" airs weekdays from 5-6am ET on CNN. Check in regularly for news, show updates and a little bit of fun.

Sound advice – and beautiful eyes. Keep applying the eyeliner Adam, show 'em how it's done. Never change.
