The view of the presidential race from roller derby country – Miguel Marquez reports

As we've been reporting throughout this campaign season, voters in key Midwestern states are going to decide the outcome of the presidential election.

CNN's Miguel Marquez has traveled across that region, taking the pulse of voters. This morning, we catch up with him in Davenport, Iowa...in the heart of roller derby country.

Davenport is in Scott County, one of several battleground counties in the U.S. As Marquez reports, in this county alone there are enough votes to turn the state blue or red.

Marquez, no stranger to a challenge, straps on some skates and a helmet (it will be important for the end of the piece) to get in the minds of a few derby voters. Check out the video above to see what he learned from these fierce voters.

Coming up later in the week, Marquez will meet voters in Jefferson County in Colorado.
