The one and only vice presidential debate of 2012 is now in the books. Vice President Joe Biden and Republican rival Paul Ryan faced each other in a lively debate in Kentucky last night that has left several questions and comments to be made regarding both candidates.
So who won?
Republican Strategist Ana Navarro and Democratic Analyst Richard Socarides come on “Early Start” with their analysis of the showdown.
While both agree that they saw a very good debate, the only clear winner, according to Navarro, was moderator Martha Raddatz. Socarides says the clear winner was Vice President Biden.
As for Congressman Paul Ryan, "I think he held his own," Socarides says. "He matched with the expertise and the gravitas of Joe Biden."
"I think both of them brought their A-game last night," Navarro says. "I think both of them showed a lot of substance. And I think both of them also showed their human side."
