Iowa farmers looking beyond drought, converting drought-scorched corn fields into feed for animals

Its the worst drought in 50 years. In Iowa, the US's largest producer of corn and soybeans, farmers are watching crops struggling in the field saying they don't know what to expect when it's harvest time in a few months.

CNN's Christine Romans has been walking the rows of corn and talking to farmers in the Hawkeye state. She reports this morning from Le Claire, Iowa on how farmers are planning for crops next year despite a harvest they expect will be devastated by drought.

In this second video, Christine talks to one farmer who is turning his drought-ravaged corn fields into feed for livestock.
