I have to admire Christian Bale for going there,, what a daunting task. Wanting to pay your respects,, and do something for those that were involved and hope that the media and everyone else sees it as exactly as it was meant to be.. a sign that he cares.

is what one is for all the people to see, over and over. When Huntsman barteyed the confidence Obama had had in him by making him Ambassador to China, and then, Hunstman returns and has nothing supportive to say, I thought the doors were wide open for further conflict. Seems to be the case. But he's very wealthy; he can go back to being just fine when 2012 is done.

The fact that he came unannounced and with no 'official' backing from the studio shows his sincerity. He didn't bring an entourage. Christian Bale is a great guy; he may play Batman, but to the people in Aurora that he cheered up? He was probably more like Superman....

Way to go, Mr. Bale! 😉

In other news people are still getting killed and people are still committing violent crimes, not only in the US but around the world.

agreed jessica – let's talk about the survivors and the victims. they are the ones who deserve our attention. i can't stop crying about the bravery of a young babysitter and the three boyfriends

Batman beyond the screen. Hats off to you, this was a very honorable thing to do. No press, no this will get me some praise, just class. Now that was cool thing to do.

We choose not to glorify the violence of a psychopath by giving him the attention he desired, spreading his name.

Bales visit was for the victims, not the shooter.

While you're at it, look up some other exotic terms, such as "conservative," "small gonmrneevt," "liberty," and "Bill of Rights."
