Live blog with 'Early Start' co-anchor John Berman TODAY, July 19th at 12pmET

Have you met John? You've likely heard about him joining the show, or maybe you saw his unique intro video. But there's a lot more to John Berman than facial hair and the Red Sox (though his Twitter feed may lead you to wonder).

We're inviting you to get to know John better by letting you have at him! He'll be live blogging right here on CNN.com/EarlyStart on Thursday, July 19th from 12:00pm to 12:30pm, where he'll answer questions, share his thoughts on stories in the news and maybe post a webcam video or two.

    This morning on the news show from 6 to 7 am a new attack on President Obama from the Rodney camp. It was played on the air. I felt that this was wrong. In playing the ad amounted to free advertiizement. Political ads are not news they are ads and should only be played when the candidates pay for the ad on the air.

    Bring back Ashley! Sorry John, you just can't replace Ashley.She is engaging and passionate. Loved her interview with Joe Walsh. CNN finally did something right when they brought Ashley onboard. I've been committed to Early start since it's inception. It doesn't have the magic without Ashely. Bring back Ashley!!
