I would like to comment on the way CNN has been covering the Trayvon Martin case. I am a African American mom of a 18 year old Ivy league college student and I am in disbelief that your network specifically the early morning show with Ashleigh Banfield has been trying to justify this Zimmerman man killing this 17 yr. old kid! Why is there a debate as to whether or not this man should be arrestesd? He should have been placed into custody at the seen and then the investigation should have began. Alena Cho reported about a white supremist group going into Sanford to protect the white people there. This reportng appears to be inflammatory. There have been no incidents reported where the white people in Sanford have been either threatened or attacked, so why even mention a white racist group. I think CNN needs to rethink their approach on how they cover this case specifically your early morning show. Ashleigh needs to rexeamine her own bias and commentary on this case. I remember Ms. Banfield from court T.V. maybe she thinks she still works there but she is now an anchor on a "reputable" network!!
